Volunteering

If you're new in Salzburg, volunteering is a great way to meet people and become active in the local community. A group member kindly researched some volunteering opportunities in Salzburg:

• Freiwillingen Zentrum Salzburg (https://www.freiwilligenzentrum-salzburg.at/) for general NGO volunteering possibilities in the area

• Red Cross (https://www.roteskreuz.at/) for social and humanitarian opportunities

• Diakoniewerk (https://www.diakoniewerk.at/) for social and health related opportunities

• Bergrettung Salzburg (https://www.bergrettung-salzburg.at/) for mountain rescue

• Parkrun (https://www.parkrun.co.at/hellbrunn/) Every Saturday morning from 8:00 until 10:00. Volunteers run the events each week. No German necessary.

Note that for many of these opportunities, some German will be required.
