Where can I buy a secondhand bike?

There are a few options in Salzburg city.

• As with any secondhand item you can of course try the Willhaben website/app

• There are a couple of shops specialising in secondhand bikes:

  • Carlavelorep - Elisabethstraße 17. They sell used bikes at moderate prices and are run by Caritas with a social purpose. Note that you can also arrange to get your bike security coded here on Thursday afternoons.

  • Fanzy Bikes - Aiglhofstraße 1. Jake refurbishes old bikes with good components to create long-lasting, hard-wearing and cool rides.

• Every spring there is a huge secondhand bike sale in Residenzplatz. My experience is that it isn't cheap though.
